Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Maintenance Controller reporting to the Manufacturing Unit Manger. The Maintenance Controller will be required to Co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the Level 1 Maintenance teams in Manufacturing and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Provide specialist technical support for specific plant & services equipment • Provides level 2 fault finding & root cause analysis and identify and route out chronic failures • Ensures maximum reliability for equipment / building maintenance and site attractiveness •Conducted detailed equipment performance analysis • Identify critical spares for equipment • Recommend maintenance mix and schedule improvements • Manage Equipment / Supplier relationships • Manage equipment upgrades & technological changes • Maintain Health & Safety Standards • Compliance to TCCQS (The Company’s Quality System) • Manage performance and develop staff.
Skills, Experience & Education
Minimum N6 electrical with instrumentation •Trade tested • Four (4) years tertiary engineering qualification (Electrical / Mechanical) will be an added advantage• At least five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory role in packaging environment • Broad based engineering and packaging knowledge • Previous production line management experience will be an added advantage • Deep understanding of Packaging Operations, processes and systems • Deep understanding of Asset Management • Understanding of Project Management • Understanding of Asset Management standards and guidelines • Reasonable understanding of Packaging Materials and Sundries • Good understanding of Safety, Health and Environment which includes Sustainable Development • Reasonable understanding of financial management, performance management, talent management.
