We are looking for a Procurement Administrator with a strong ability to work independently whilst supporting a team, who takes initiative and has an ability to meet deadlines to join our growing Real Estate team.
You will provide support to the procurement team by carrying out general administrative duties and placing orders for equipment and materials, organizing and storing documents, building relationships with the divisions and recommending ways to improve existing basket of fixtures .
Reporting into the Head of Store Development, your duties will include:
– Conduct administrative tasks to ensure the Distribution Centre’s (DC) administrative functions are processed timeously.
– Align the internal purchase order system (DAX) with supplier price list with regards to new/existing product code, description & price to ensure stakeholders are kept abreast of change.
– Collaborate with the Divisional Visual Managers with regards to the delivery of products to the DC according to project timelines to ensure the efficient delivery of products that meet project rollout timelines.
– Organizing and storing documents, making purchase orders, updating records, and responding to order issues.
– Conducts product cost comparisons to ensure cost containment efficiencies and determine the lowest cost for products/materials.
– Work on new concepts with the divisions.
– Manage weekly projects schedule, capex numbers by store and project related queries
– Provide support to the project managers when they are travelling
Minimum Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years in procurement environment (preferably retail or FMCG or manufacturing)
– DAX/Purchase Order Systems as well as Project Management experience advantageous
– MS Office package
– Knowledge of fixtures and fittings
