AUXILIARY SERVICES OFFICER – ALL APPLICATIONS

Requirements :

Matric with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in Health Promotion field or Abet level 4 with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field or Matric with a qualification in Health Promotion. A valid driver’s license. Ability to work with the community. Presentation, group facilitation skills, knowledge in community health programmes. Good communication skills and interpersonal relations. Knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations and Policies with regard to health promotion and knowledge of Public Finance.

Duties :

Co-ordinate community programmes for health related issues in catchment area. Management of record keeping/filing of health promotion records in facility. Participate and lead the arrangements of awareness campaigns and events of healthy lifestyle programmes. Ensure Stakeholder mobilization and involvement. Act as resource and consultancy centre for health promotion in the community. Ensure Community development and empowerment. Ensure Implementation of project management for health promotion. Lead implementation of IMCI/HECI//HPS/ISHP and support WBOT activities in the clinic catchment area. Participate in Outbreak Response Teams.

A fully completed and signed new z83 form should be accompanied by an updated and detailed CV (With emphasis to section E, F and G of Z83). The recommended candidates will be subjected to positive results of the security clearance process (criminal records check) and the verification of educational qualifications certificates will be required to submited (certified copies of ID, qualifications and a valid driver’s license) on or before the date of interviews.
